Andy Wooten, Brenden Trimboli, and Aaron Marks came over around 5PM and we went for my usual jog out to the lake and back along the LT100 course. Fun sharing my route with others. The course markings were up for the bike race so it gave me chills to see some of the pink ribbons up again. That just means my day is near. Andy took off for a longer run and the rest of us took it easy back to home at a conversational pace.
A friend of theirs named Carson just arrived. Now waiting on Nick Pedatella to arrive and that brings me to a full house of guests for the race in the morning. Thousands of bikes will pass by my corner at 6:36 AM for the Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race. We will be out there with beers egging them on. Its required. Then jump in the cars and follow them around the course for the better part of the morning.
Lance is a no show so far as expected. But there is still a buzz of maybe. Pretty stoked they say they will be doing live race updates from the course. I hope that continues for the run next weekend. That would be awesome.
