Prosper Resources - Part 1
Prosper - the person-to-person lending site - broke new ground in helping individuals find ways to get loans and investors to get a bit higher return on their money. I am having a bit of trouble getting a loan funded on Prosper, but I am amazed at the resources that have been created to help the Prosper community. I have found many knowledge bases and insightful, helpful people that are making Prosper much more successful than it would be on its own.
I first bumped into a Prosper blogger when he took the time to comment on my concerns about funding a loan at Prosper - Tom from Prosper Lending Review has been very helpful. His blog is excellent and reading over it gave me a good deal of understanding about the current directions at Prosper.
The second Prosper blogger than I have been lucky to interact with is from the Rate Ladder blog - a Prosper.com Lender Blog, Lending Strategy, Rate Analysis and Personal Finance. Yet another reason the Prosper community is so successful, this blogger has been very responsible in answering questions and giving advice. In his blog, he gives detailed information about his lending experience at Prosper - valuable for potential lenders AND borrowers.
There seems to be tons of resources out there - Rate Ladder and Prosper Lending Review are great starting places. I will put together a part 2 in the next week with some other sites that are helping Prosper continue to be successful.

Deep Market - thanks for the mention. I’m glad you find the articles on Prosper Lending Review helpful. I’d say the best ones are written by my brother. He has a lot of good insights.
Awhile back I did a review of all the Prosper blogs I could find. This may be a helpful starting point for you. I’d also recommend checking out LendingStats and Eric’s Credit Community.
Thanks for the mention… Good luck with your loan…
