With a continued focus on charities that benefit veterans and active military members, I want to talk about the Fisher House Foundation. Ever hear of the Ronald McDonald House? Think about it that way -

“A home away from home”

There is a Fisher House - 34 in total - at every major military medical center. They provide a home away from home for family members when a service member is at a center receiving care.  Even in peace time, the Fisher House is an important support network that helps support troops beyond what the DoD and the VA can provide.  During war, your contributions to the foundation can be imperative to helping wounded men and women recover with their family members.
