If you said “United Service Organizations” to me, I would probably look at your with a blank stare.  If you instead said - USO - then that immediately conjures up all manner of images and memories.   You would be hard pressed to find a service member that did not interact with the USO in some way during their active duty.  Famous for their shows that entertain the troops abroad, the USO is one of the most well know organizations that helps to provide a boost to troop morale.

Morale support goes well beyond the USO show.  What could be a greater boost to morale than phone cards that allow deployed service members call home?  Well, there is also the USO Care Package which brings some of the “comfort items” that we civilians take for granted everyday - things like basic toiletries - to troops in the field.  The USO is working with the service members on a day to day basis to help keep their spirits up - help the USO to help keep those spirits high!
