Green Travel – Questionable
Travel in the modern world is going to have an impact on the environment, so I have a big problem with the concept of “Green Travel.” Shouldn’t it be – “If you are Green, then don’t Travel”? I would characterize this as the “Penny wise, pound foolish” aspect of being Green. It seems to be “okay” to ignore your impact when on vacation. To highlight this – our “do no evil” friends at Google have developed a Green travel mashup site. You have got to be joking me, right? Green travel is moronic, but Google’s Official Blog is all over it like tomorrow’s hottest fad. Well, good luck with that – I think I will just take a walk around the block.
