SEC and Employee Insider Trading

I had no idea that SEC employees are allowed to own and trade stocks. You have got to be kidding me. Let me see here – so, I can get a job at the SEC, be privy to all the juicy non-public information, trade on that information AND potentially cover it up because I AM THE INVESTIGATOR? You have got to be kidding me. Oh, wait – I said that already.
