Fish Liver Sorter
As a kid, I had some pretty imaginative ideas for jobs, but fish liver sorter was not one of them and honestly, none of the other weird jobs listed over at the Aviva Trivia Blog made my top ten. However, I did have an overwhelming sick fascination with killer bees – the “global warming” of the 1970′s. These buzzing menaces just never got much of a foothold in the rest of the US like the doomsayers predicted. In fact, the Aviva trivia blog mentions that they still have not progressed much beyong the southern states, like southern California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Texas. Now that I am grown up I am more interested in the social behaviour of bees and ants, which have some very curious applications in artificial intelligence.
