WordPress 2.8 – Baker – Released
DeepMarket has been using WordPress since release 2.0 and it has served us well. Right now we are on 2.7 and I just saw that WordPress 2.8 has been released as of last night. This sounds good:
Major New Improvements
First and foremost, 2.8 is way faster to use. We’ve changed the way WordPress does style and scripting.
I like to hear upgrades like this! Almost 700 bugs fixed (none that I knew to affect DeepMarket).
But Golly, I just finished upgrading the server to Fedora 11 – which took a couple of hours and several days to sort out. I am not sure when we will get updated to 2.8, but I am sure it will before next week.
